Design Concept
The design concept adeptly integrates the architectural roofscapes inspired by the Konkan region with contemporary planning principles. Central to this vision is the utilization of main courtyards that seamlessly connect to the classroom zone.
The building's exterior features a striking contrast as the luminous skin stands out prominently against the backdrop of the natural surroundings, while simultaneously harmonizing with the verdant and terracotta hues of the roofs. The incorporation of dressed basalt stone cladding imparts an earthy essence to the overall modernistic architecture of the campus, creating a nuanced blend of tradition and contemporary design elements.
Situated in Kankavli within the Sindhudurg district of Maharashtra, this expansive institutional complex spans 32 acres and encompasses a comprehensive array of structures. The complex boasts an administrative college building, a dedicated library block, a versatile multipurpose hall, a well-appointed club house, hostel blocks catering to both girls and boys, a state-of-the-art dairy college, and notably, a helipad facility.
