Hotel Sai Palace, Andheri.

Location

Andheri, Maharashtra.

Project type

Hospitality building (Architectural Design and Interiors)

Design Concept

The building's form strategically utilized larger masses flanking a spacious central arched void, which served a dual purpose of showcasing a segment of the hotel interior and housing the central vertical circulation core. This architectural arrangement not only optimized spatial efficiency but also contributed to a visually dynamic and engaging facade, making a bold statement within the urban context.

To counterbalance the inherent intensity of the urban landscape, the exterior of the hotel featured expansive flower beds and wooden ceramic tile cladding. These design elements were strategically introduced to infuse a natural and comfortable ambiance into the surroundings, effectively breaking the monotony of the urban environment. The large flower beds not only added a touch of greenery but also contributed to a refreshing visual contrast against the backdrop of concrete and steel.

The architectural conception of Hotel Sai Palace in Andheri, crafted as a business hotel, was a thoughtful response to the constraints posed by its congested urban surroundings. The design strategy ingeniously navigated the challenges of the space, incorporating distinctive elements to enhance both form and function.
In essence, the design of Hotel Sai Palace in Andheri is a testament to the fusion of aesthetic innovation and functional pragmatism, successfully navigating the challenges of a congested urban context while creating an inviting and visually striking business hotel.
