Design Concept
The facade underwent a complete metamorphosis, embracing distinctive Romanesque architectural features while concurrently upholding an urban modern aesthetic through strategic employment of lighting and contemporary materials. This synthesis of classical and modern design elements not only revitalized the aesthetic appeal of the 'Sai Palace Hotel' but also seamlessly integrated it into its urban context.
The interplay of these materials was thoughtfully executed to strike a balance between classic and modern design, maintaining a visual harmony that resonated with the architectural ethos.
The 'Sai Palace Hotel' project presented a multifaceted challenge, characterized by the presence of a pre-existing structural framework. The architectural team assumed the responsibility of revitalizing the edifice, focusing on elevational elements and the overall facade. This involved a meticulous process of addition and subtraction from the existing structure, coupled with a comprehensive overhaul of the interiors to augment the architectural program and functionality of the pre-existing hotel.
